Take flight with the honeybee for a truly unique and educational tour of Munro Honey & Meadery.

Munro Honey’s knowledgeable staff will tell you about the life of the honeybee and hive, and how that delicious, sweet honey gets from the hive to your table. You will learn about the other products that the honeybee gives us and how they are used. You’ll bee buzzing with information.

Our tours wouldn’t be complete without some tales of old about the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage, mead. Sample some mead (age of majority required),we’re sure you will find a favourite.

Explore our gift shop and enjoy the observation hive. There’s something for everyone.

Our facility is 12000 square feet, one floor and wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of parking, and a large area for buses on site. Our gift shop has an array of gift items, honeys, beeswax candles, and mead. The shop accepts debit, M/C and VISA.

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

April to June
Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm

July to December
Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 12pm-5pm

Observation Hive (glassed-in) is only available from approximately mid May until mid November

Tours are available by appointment.
Sorry, no tours are available on Sundays.
